My mom made turkey chowder the day after Thanksgiving every year and I loved it. It’s just one of those foods from my childhood that I treasure and love to share with my family now!

INGREDIENTS 

  • 1 diced yellow onion
  • 1-2 TBS minced garlic
  • 2 celery stalks chopped
  • 3 large carrots chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper diced
  • 3 c cubed yellow potatoes
  • 3-4c chopped cooked Thanksgiving turkey
  • 6 c chicken broth
  • 1 tsp each dill and cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

Chop and combine all ingredients in a large pot over medium heat
